The Vandy area not only includes Vanderbilt University, but also Belmont University, Hillsboro Village, Upper Broadway, and parts of West End. There are thousands of permanent residents in this part of Nashville who have helped create a culturally diverse and eclectic part of town. But don't expect all of that coolness to come cheap, the Vandy area is one of the more expensive parts of Nashville.

The "Vandy" or Vanderbilt University area of Nashville is located directly southwest of downtown Nashville and is boarded by 21st Avenue and West End Avenue. Tons of rental choices exist in this area and properties can range from the mundane to the extravagant. The Vandy area is known for boutique shopping, quirky restaurants, and late night spots.
